Position: Testing Technician (SAR and RF/EMC)

Celltech Labs is located in the heart of "The Silicon Vineyard" Kelowna, BC (The Sunny Okanagan!).

Description
Perform EMC/SAR testing services for customer products.

Responsibilities

Obtain necessary understanding of testing performed

Receiving and preparation of DUT’s for testing

Preparation of test program/plans/quote info for testing

Preparation of equipment for testing

Troubleshooting DUT testing irregularities

Compiling data and integrating data, and report preparation

Assist with the maintenance and calibration of test equipment, and housekeeping of test facilities

Maintain an in-depth and current knowledge of test procedures and agency standards

Participate in ongoing internal and external training

Understand and follow the Quality System as it pertains to the Testing Technician role

Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to take direction and be able to apply knowledge obtained from test procedures and standards. Team oriented attitude with attention to detail and deadlines is required.

Qualifications/Experience
A technical program graduate (Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, Telecommunications), or industry specific training and/or proven proficiency and track record in testing methods is required. Prior work experience in a testing laboratory or other equivalent is preferred for this position.
