Position: EMC/RF Compliance Test Engineer

At CELLTECH Labs Inc. we have successfully expanded our services to include EMC compliance testing and engineering solutions for intentional and unintentional radiators in accordance with FCC Part 15 and Industry Canada RSS-210. As we broaden our scope of offerings, we are seeking to add a qualified EMC/EMI compliance test engineer/manager to join, or based on experience, to lead our EMC Team.

Requirements

The preferred candidate has comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in a commercial test laboratory in EMC/EMI compliance testing of intentional and unintentional radiators in accordance with FCC, Industry Canada, and European regulatory requirements (MIL-STD RF test experience would be considered).

The candidate has achieved a high level of skill in interpreting testing & reporting standards; device preparation; test equipment setup; data collection & interpretation; report formulation.

The candidate is comfortable in their knowledge, and in growing this knowledge, energized in facing the challenges of current and new technologies and compliance standards.

Excellent communication skills are required as is a leadership role in supervising staff, assuring adherence to deadlines, and in advising clients.

Extensive experience in a commercial ISO 17025 Test laboratory environment is highly desired, and knowledge of Labview/TILE test equipment control programming would be considered an asset.

A B.SC in Electrical Engineering or an Engineering Technology Diploma with related experience is desired.
