FCC SAR Testing Policies & Procedures

The FCC guidance procedures and methods listed below (as applicable) must be applied in order to determine the appropriate FCC test requirements for your product. In addition, Industry Canada has adopted the same FCC KDB procedures listed below as per RSS-102 Issue 3 (June 2009).

The Celltech team is very familiar with the FCC KDB SAR guidance procedures listed below with the knowledge and expertise on how to apply them appropriately to your specific product requirements. The ability to determine the requirements for products not covered by these procedures and the process of test plan preparation with the FCC is also crucial. Celltech Labs works closely with the FCC and TCB’s on behalf of our customers to ensure smooth certification processing.

The FCC has been concerned with specific criteria regarding SAR testing and data submitted in SAR reports. Failure to meet these criteria may result in certification processing delays. The Celltech team is well trained and knowledgeable with all aspects of the regulatory requirements and how they must be applied to appropriate test plans and procedures.
